The Department of Tamil offers Tamil under Part – I for all the first and second year undergraduate students of the college, to make them understand and internalize the importance of Tamil which is an ancient classical language existing in both oral and written forms.

The Department was started in the academic year 2022-2023 with experienced and dedicated faculty members.

The Department of Physical Education was established with the aim that Sports and studies are an integral part of college life. Sports in GJASC play an important role in the development of overall personality of the students. Students are encouraged to take part in games and sports. The department provides exclusive grounds, equipment and training facilities to the students in the following disciplines: Athletic Track, Basketball, Chess, Cricket, Football, Handball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball and the like.
